Eventus 2005 Chianti

Eventus Chianti displays a lovely bright ruby red of medium intensity, the aroma is delicate yet enticing with notes of strawberry and violets. The flavor profile of this Chianti is fruity, with a medium body. The acidity, soft tannins and alcohol all balance nicely. The finish has a pleasing, softly tannic note that makes it so good with food. This wine was fermented in stainless steel with a small part of the cuvée being matured in new oak barriques for up to six months. A sensational match to hearty, home cooking that makes good use of herbs like rosemary and thyme.
