47% Syrah, 19% Grenache, 15% Mourvedre, 14% Petite Syrah, 5% Couniose--This vintage of the AS flagship Rhone blend has nice range, with dark plum and blackberry fruit mixed with hints of anise, juniper and roasted mesquite. There's good cut on the finish, with the toast well-embedded and juicy acidity framing it all.

Won first place Blue Ribbon for red blends at the 2011 Arizona State Fair.
