Producer notes: "Never shy of color, aromas, flavors or tannin, Petite Syrah traditionally has been a blending variety. We like it on its own and accentuate the dark black fruit character and firm structure. This vintage combines our trademark blueberry and spice aromas with berry syrup, dark chocolate, toasty oak sweetness, and ripe tannins. The mouth feel and finish are powerful and long lasting, making it a lovely, bold, food friendly wine. Decanting and aeration will reveal more character and soften the texture. Additional bottle aging will continue to improve the tannins and enhance the overall complexity. CCOF certified organically grown. Alcohol 14.9%. 320 cases produced."
