A fresh young wine with good intensity, showing crisp, clean notes of apple, pear, citrus and herbs.  Pala has gradually passed from bulk quantities, destined above all to other bottling companies, to now being a modern concern that stands out for the sheer quality of its products.  Its wines are the fruit of vineyards that are cultivated in line with traditions but always with a modern outlook.   Late-picked but fermented dry, this Vermentino is rich and concentrated, with pink grapefruit and melon fruit notes.  Serve with seafood, shellfish and crustaceans.  It is also good with fish with delicate meat in light sauces, and with dry and liquid soups with not excessively spicy seasonings.
