Full-bodied but not over the top jammy, which is nice. It's a smooth, balanced, grapey wine with mild black pepper on the finish, mild tannins, and mild acid. There's a bit of oak flavor but that's restrained too. It's not going to blow you away but it's certainly a good deal and very tasty.
